Sooner or later every bicycle needs some TLC. You can count on us to get your bike back in top shape. Below you will find a description of our Basic tune up and Complete tune up. We often price by the job for services.

 

Basic Tune Up  $ 55.00

This service includes visual inspection and basic adjustment.

1. Inspect wheels for damage

2. Inspect Brakes for wear

3. Inspect drivetrain for damage

COMPLETE TUNE-UP  $ 90.00

This service includes a thorough cleaning, and a complete evaluation and adjustment. It does not include overhaul of bearings or additional replacement parts.

Clean Bicycle

A. Chain, Cassette, Chainrings

B. Rim Surface or Disc Rotors

C. Derailleurs, Pedals, Brake Calipers

D. Frame, Fork, Wheels

Inspect Components

A. Remove Wheels inspect for:

1. Bearing play and wear

2. Damaged spokes

3. Rim damage

4. Tire damage

B. Brakes inspect for:

1. Pad wear & Alignment

2. Cable or housing damage

3. Fluid leaks on hydraulic systems

C. Crank and Bearing Assembly inspect for:

1. Bearing Play and wear

2. Chainring damage

D. Suspension Fork / Headset inspect for:

1. Play between Fork lowers and upper tubes

2. Leaking fluids

3. Play between fork and frame

E. Rear Suspension Linkage: Inspect for Bearing/Bushing play

F. Measure Chain for wear

Adjust & Lube

A. Wheels:

1. Adjust Bearings

2. True Wheels

3. Torque Cassette Lockring

B. V-Brakes:

1. Gently file pads, remove debris

2. Align pads with rim surface

3. Clean & lube inner wire

C. Derailleurs:

1. Lube Derailleur Pivots & Inner Wire

2. Lube Chain

3. Adjust Shifting

D. Other:

1. Lube Pedal/Cleat Assembly

2. Remove Seatpost, clean, reinstall

3. Torque: Crank Assembly; Handlebar, Stem, Seatpost, Saddle

     Rear Linkage, Quick Release Levers

4. Inflate Tires

 

 SUSPENSION FORK OVERHAUL  $30-90

A. Clean Lowers and Upper Assembly

B. Inspect for wear on Stanchion tubes, Bushings and Springs

C. Replace Seals, Rings as needed

D. Restore Oils to Factory settings or customer preference
